C15-C20 mixed long-chain alkenyl succinic anhydride is a light yellow to amber transparent liquid at room temperature; it contains active five-membered ring acid anhydride functional groups and has extremely strong oil solubility;


Compared with C12 DDSA and C16 HDSA, the carbon chain is longer, forming a dense and firm oil film on the metal surface, with more outstanding long-term rust prevention and corrosion resistance; the viscosity is relatively high, and it tends to thicken at low temperatures; it can undergo an acid anhydride ring-opening reaction.
